Lazarus is a very quiet mare. Far from shy or insecure however, stoic even in some aspects. Its not always easy to tell what shes up to, but rest assured shes kindly and polite, noble even. Shes protective of others and if not as a horse, would surely have been born as a knight, such is her nature. While she was born with heavily impaired sight, shes still very surefooted and moves with an almost eerie precision. At the same time, Lazarus appears wise beyond her years, that however doesnt rob her of a tinge of childlike whimsy and joy.

Its speculated that she can indeed see things that no mortal normally should. However as she is a horse, she couldnt make much use of such mysrerious circumstances. This has been happening from the moment she first opened her eyes and hence is perfectly normal to her. Sometimes she can be seen interacting with things that dont seem to be there. As such, she is far from lonely. 

If it wasnt for her sight impairment, she would have made for a cross country and trail star. She has much endurance and strenght and loves being worked with. 

Backstory:

Lazarus was born prematurely and initially believed to be dead. However, she stirred while her owners back was turned and greeted the woman with a great relief and miracle. Her dam raised her well and lovingly and she was trained by kind and caring hands.
