Urmel is a loving and almost puppy like stallion. He is sweet, respectful and uh... not the brightest. In german they say "treudoof". He loves with all his heart and is so trusting and warmhearted. Generally he likes to take things slower, but that doesnt mean he is lazy or unwilling.

He boasts great endurance and gaits so smooth and steady one thinks theyre sat in an armchair instead of a saddle. Near nothing can spook him or more unsettle him enough to actually run or rear. With this horse, one is as safe as can be. Hes a great trailhorse too, he takes his steps with much deliberation and is slower as his sister. It makes him a great companion for more anxious riders. Your granny, your baby, your dog, he will faithfully keep them safe. He loves to be involved and just to be near others and is content with just that. 

Rushing him will get no one anywhere, it tends to make him even slower as he tries to process whats going on. Hes very attentive to the smallest aids and will faithfully follow them, however if he finds them too confusing he bugs out a little and stops to buffer. After being given a minute to forget about it hes ready to get going again.
