The twins

Not one, but two. Twin foals born just a short while ago, both looking a little crinkled.
One is up and moving already, staggering around on her almost comically long legs. Her name is Nausicaa. Her eyes glisten as she goes about. She trips and falls and is back up as quickly as she went down. Her dam watches her carefully. Ah, the little one is staggering so with so much determination- but in the wrong direction. It takes a few soft calls from her dam to grasp Nausicaas attention and prompt the foal to turn and make way back to her mother.
Once she knows her daughter where shes meant to be, the twins dam turns her attention back to the more crinkeled twin. Urmel hes called and hes laying down still. Granted, his sister simply is up and moving quicker than many other foals. He is very tired, being born is a exhausting ordeal. The world he finds himself in is so very strange, yet he has taken no notice of it just yet. Urmel needs some more time to come to. His dam carefully nuzzles him and aids him in slowly waking up. As he does, he is very confused. But he is also hungy which takes priority. Urmels mother encourages him to get up and softly nudges her son into the right direction.
