Hiya! My name is Mercedes, but people do really call me Spud in real-life, so that's just fine :) I'm a 28 y/o mechanical engineer in California!

I've been obsessed with horses my whole life, been drawing them since I could pick up a pencil (though that doesn't mean I'm any good lol), and I rode until I got sick in 2022 and unfortunately haven't been physically able to return to it since. I'm still holding out hope to go back! Since I can't work with horses right now, I've been pouring all of my spare energy into mentoring a high-school robotics team so you might hear it come up from time to time. I've been participating in some version or another of HARPG since I was 12 or 13! I draw as often as I can, but even when I can't, I'm almost always on discord. If you ever see a keyboard smash message from me, it's probably one of my cats :P
