Hot Shot, nicknamed “Shottie” is owned by Rick Ellington and Dawson Walker. Shottie always wears a red tail ribbon when out, to signify he doesn’t like other horses. Multiple times Hottie has kicked, bitten, and attacked other horses.
Shottie is a 16.2-hand stallion. He competes in mounted shooting, trail and cutting. His best event is cutting by far. Shottie enjoys working, but he can be a lot. He is a lot in hand, and will push to go forward as fast as possible. Due to this, his worst event is western pleasure, but Rick and Dawson are working hard with him to improve his patience.
Shottie’s favorite treats are carrots, but he’ll eat just about anything you give him.
