Locke is a kind and dependable mare, a bit older than the others but far from tired and with much energy left to give. She has taught countless kids how to ride and continues to happily do so. Many children leave with a photo of her, as shes a mentor one remembers for many years to come, if not life. And not only children learn from her, but beginner adults or those who want to start riding again are recommended to do so on her back. She doesnt do fancy dressage moves or jump too high, but she teaches invaluable lessons and makes her riders feel safe and taken care of. Years of experience and an extremely patient nature make her a pillar of the barn.
