On a bright summer evening, Lacey managed to bring the stallions buddy home; a beautiful bay pinto. The two could hardly believe their eyes. They stood far apart in the field for a minute as if saying, "is it really you?" Then once they got the others scent, they immediately began running around the field. Lacey stood and watched for a long time, admiring the lifelong bond these two had, finally together again.
