Over the last 10 years who had passed since the makeover, Sokrates had stepped into Rosé's footstep, being a safe space for scared and traumatized rescues. We saw the first glimpse of that future when he started working with saturn in the same arena, giving that spicy mare comfort and calmness. But we would have never imagined that he will actually fill in the hole Rosé left when she died. New rescues immediately felt safe with him, and he managed to make their first days much more comfortable

It was always so emotional to see how loving he cared about the helpless little rescues.

Looking back on the journey we've shared since Sokrates arrived at our stables was very emotional. The transformation he had gone through, from being this anxious horse who pawed the whole day, to now, where his anxiety is gone and him not feeling the need to paw anymore is so beautiful. He is secure in himself, his surroundings, and relearned how to self-regulate. He has gotten such an strong character, and we're all incredibly proud of him.

After a few years, I even started to ride him. He enjoyed it a lot, and we started going on many hacks and adventures with our friends, and we even participated in some smaller competitions. We helped him heal, giving him the surroundings he needed, with him giving us all his love back. We are his whole world, and he is mine.

And with that, Sokrated, also officially called "Dunes of Promise" now, and had found his peace.
