Bonus 3 - My Superstar ☆
My Superstar
Last time you entered a trailer, you were at your worst state ever. But when I loaded you to drive to the nearest aquatic therapy place, you looked like a proud gorgeous boy. You trusted me and i shouldn't have been surprised that it worked very well.
The instructor told me that not every horse responses well to being submerged into water and especially as one with bad anxiety in the past- this might not be so easy to get you used to.
Standing on the threat mill and walking slowly without water was pretty okey, but when the water started to flush in- you got scared and tried to escape. Thankfully I was able to calm you down and after carefully checking out the water, you understood and we continued to slowly fill the threat mill.
You walked so good and I think my presence gave you confidence to keep going even when the water reached your shoulders. From then on we came to train there every week and your muscles started to become so strong.
Then, last week, we tried swimming in the training pool for the very first time and I still can't believe how confidently you ran in there and swam like a little superstar. It's as if you turned into a golden retriever that will take every chance to paddle in the water! Your joints and tendons have regained their normal range and everyone I tell your story is quite impressed by your up-to-date physice.
Each time you exit that trailer, you look more muscular and stronger as the time before. A totally different horse steps out and I couldn't be more proud of my beautiful boy.
All those weeks I've just called you with "boy" but yesterday we had this moment together- we walked in the sunset and your eyes and coat were reflecting so beautifully, that the name Beau came to my mind. It's short for beautiful and I want you to always remember that you're now your true beautiful self. Surely on the outside, but nothing could ever compare to your beautiful soul. I adore who you are and absolutely nothing compares to you. I love you so much my little beau.
