Phase II: Then VS Now

Then:

Asha was carefully getting the mare used to a girth. She would put pressure on her stomach and move it off whenever she didn't bite or kick at the spot. After five weeks of her working on her girth issues and a lot of brakes the mare finally got used to it. She's less likely to bite at the girth but she still as some small explosive episodes especially in the cold weather of the UK. Asha had started working on grooming her. Especially paying attention to her barel and her spine. The long work on Asha and Andrea proved to be successful. Andrea is calmer when being brushed and sometimes even leans into it when it's on her back. Asha has

learned what brushes she likes and what she hates. Saul has been her test dummy for rides and let's just say he's tired of being that.

Now:

Asha was brushing And as she hummed along to rocket queen. The mare was doing her signature lip while leaning into the brush now. Her ears pinned whenever Asha stopped and she looked broken but as soon as Asha stared brushing her again she would go back to her lip moving. Asha laughed as she worked talking to her as if they were old friends
