Phase III: Loving you

Asha was walking out into the pasture to get Andrea and Roxy. The mares were grazing side by side as they stood in the treeline. Asha smiles softly as she walks to them putting their halters on before walking back to the barn with them following. Roxy was her husband’s jumping project but she was still young so Asha used her mostly as a friend on trail rides. Andrea on the other hand is just a lovely trail loshenka since she doesn’t like saddles. Asha decided to ride her in a bearback pad and sometimes just completely bearback if they’re just walking around the arena. She started to brush down Andrea as she hums along with Rocket Queen that was playing in the background. The mares ears flicked back whenever Asha would stop grooming her and nicker in complaint. Asha smiled as she started working on her trail braiding it up and making sure it wasn’t going to get in her way when adding her leg wraps. Asha started walking to get the bearback pad and wraps along with her hackamor. She hummed as she came back and began to tack up. Saul came out and helped her tack up by tacking up Roxy. The mare was standing there patiently waiting while they took time to get the filly ready for her first ride with tack. Asha looked at Saul as he leaned over and kissed her nose before heading to tack up his stallion Warrant. Warrant rode in western but was an extremely soft stallion with some interesting features whenever he was bored. Asha looked up as Saul walked over to help her onto Andrea’s back so they could head out. Asha grabbed Roxy’s lead as she lead them to one of the trails on their property. Saul road close to her as they walked towards the main trail. Saul looks at Andran:”She’s come along way from her scared and explosive self. She definitely loves being brushed now. You did good babe” Asha smiles as she pets the mares neck:”We did good. She saved me from being stuck inside and I just gave her time and energy that no one else wanted to give her. She’s just so smart and sweet. Shes nothing like what her file said but she also got to settle into the barn and get some trust with us.” Asha looked at Saul as he nodded listening to her talk. He knew his wife loved this mare even if she wouldn’t say it. Saul laid back as Warrant just walked following the mares lead. Asha smiles as she rubs Andrea’s neck while they walked. She would scratch around her shoulder knowing the mare loved that as they walked. Asha even got a custom halter made that said rocket queen on it that she just had on her to tie her when they get to their spot. Andrea walked into the clearing as Asha slides off her back and ground ties her and Roxy. Roxy’s ears flicked as she grazed beside the older mare. Warrant just walked and laid down beside his normal spot even if he’s blind he knows his spot. Asha lays back as she looks at Andrea:”I did good for my first makeover with her. She’s even calmer than warrant when I started him under saddle.” Saul laughs as he grabs the blanket off his saddle. He lays it down and sits on it as she moves to lay on him:”You got flipped on by Warrant five times before he finally let you ride him. God I was scared you were going to be hurt.” Asha smiles softly as she shacks her head at her husband. She knew he was scared but she felt at home on a horse even a bald pretty girl of a mare. Asha and Saul saddled up after five hours and started home. Andrea lead as Roxy played off lead beside them and kept close. The mares were close enough that one nicker from Andrea and Roxy was back at their side not moving from it. Back at the barn Asha dismounts and untacks her two horses. Asha starts to wash Roxy and her hair and tail before walking to wash Andrea’s body and tail. She frowns seeing her scars from her hitting and bitting her belly when she had a girth on. Asha pets her belly and starts brushing her tail as well as scratching her stomach watching as she does the lip thing. Asha smiles as she keeps working on brushing her down. She starts brushing her topline and going down like normal. Asha smiles as she works. Andrea scratches her stomach as she waits for Asha to brush her other side. Asha laughs softly as she walks to her other side and brushed her down. She turns the water on and starts to spray her down and her legs. She grabs the shampoo and works on her tail her fingers running through the hair as she starts at the top and goes down undoing the braids and knot’s when she hits on. Asha was very gentle with her as she worked. Asha grabs the hose and starts spraying her down and scrubbing the shampoo out of her tail. Asha grabs her phone and looks up braids to put your Loshies tail into. She hums lazy as she looks at them before deciding to do a quick braid at the base and let the rest lose. She works as Saul braids Roxy’s hair for the night. She smiles as they work side by side him occasionally leaning over and kissing her head as he passed her. He lead Roxy down and to her stall as Asha finished braiding Andrea’s tail. She smiles as Andrea picks her hoofs up for Saul whenever he asked since he’s been learning to care for hoofs so he can help out more. They took turns brushing and adding ointment to her scars and fresh wounds. Andrea’s tail flicked lazy whenever they walk around her. Asha opens the bag of apples and cuts it up before offering it to Andrea. The mares ears flicked as she ate the snack while Saul started making the food and soaked the older horses hay and even added apples to everyone’s water since it’s been hot. Asha grabs her halter off the hook and puts it on her before leading her down the isle just walking to dry her off since she gets turned out for 3 hours at night. Andrea trots playfully beside her as they walk. Saul smiles as he records the video of them and sends it to the bands group chat. Asha pets the mares next as they walk. Asha out of the barn and to the round pen to let Andrea run. The mare kicks out as they watch her. Asha smiles proud of her as Saul leans beside her”I love you and She loves you baby” he mutters into her hair as they watch the mare play. Andrea’s ears flicked as she runs around and even rolls. Asha laughs softly as she watched the mare. Asha smiles and holds her hand to Andrea. Andrea hits her hand with her but to get scratches. Asha smiles as she scratched her but while she did the wired lip thing. Asha smiles as she looks at the mare in love.”My girl”
