PHASE 1 - Who are you?

It was monday, another sunny day at the ranch. Jane woke up, got dressed, had a fast breakfast and went for Sally also known as "Sassy Scallion" but she just calls her Sally, to do her morning check around. Sally greated Jane with happy neigh and trot towards her. Jane put bosal over Sally´s head and threw her heavy western saddle on her back, Sally just stood there, being used to her morning walk. Jane is very proud of her saddle because it has sunflowers on it, her favorite flower, which were custom painted on. After tacking up, it was finally time to head out.

Thankfully, all horses were in their enclosures and none of the ponies sneaked out. Then she moved on checking all the watter suplies, making sure everyone has enough and does not need to be refilled. After the horses, ot was time for the other animals, like sheeps , chickens and cows. Beacause it was monday, it meant that the cows were supposed to change their pasture, moving from south to west. For Jane it was easy, she has done this many times before. As always, she opened the gate, and started moving the cows. They were moving as expected and knew where they were supposed to go. But there was a new cow? Or is it even a cow? Jane rode closer and closer until she recognized it was not a cow! It was a horse, specifically a young mare. She has never seen her before. She was smaller then all the horses she was used to at the ranch. Her dark brown and reddish coat was covered in a lot of sand and dust. Her tail was short and dreaded. The mysterious mare also seemed to be quite scared, as if she has never seen a person before. Judging by that, Jane needed to catch her and try to bring her to the ranch for inspection, check if she has hip or injuries she would need to be taken care of. Jane could not leave her here, as much as she wish wild horses were a thing, the mare was a safety hazard for them.

Jane reached out with her right hand for a rope, she always keep on the saddle in case of emergency. The rope started swinging in the air with loop at the end. For Jane it was not something irregular, she learned to catch cows this way when she was young. With one clean swing, the loop was suddenly around mare´s neck and with Jane´s signal. Sally dig her hooves into the ground, stopping. Jane was holding on the saddle, but did not fall. The mare stopped and looked at them. But first Jane needed to close the rest of the cows into their pasture. She tied the rope to the saddle and got down from Sally. Jane walked to the gate and closed it, she did not worry anout Sally running of, because she trained her and trusted her.

The rest of the way, back to the ranch, she decided to walk on her feet with the mysterious mare on lead. The mare did not know how to act, she was quite stubborn at first, but after seeing Sally calmly going behind Jane, she also went...
