Phase One || Loshenka Makeover 2025

Windswept clouds floated overhead. Alex sighed, ready for the morning to get itself underway. Impatience was an issue for him, always had been. While the man paced anxiously, he muttered to himself about what he'd gotten into this time. This was not Alex's first rodeo with rehabilitating a horse, but he worried. A mare that grew aggressive during group rides could be dangerous. Alex wasn't stupid. He knew that he was putting himself and his farm at risk by trying to fix the mare's issues. Still...he couldn't help himself. Something about the doe-eyed gaze of the perlino mare caught him, and he couldn't say no. Besides, she seemed otherwise sound, in good health. Nothing like a little bit of a temper tantrum to get the blood running, right? Sighing, Alex ran a hand through his blonde locks. Gravel crunched, and he turned to see the truck and trailer arriving. Springing forward, Alex met them halfway. Once they'd gotten parked, Alex was quick to unload the Perlino mare from her trailer. He hurried her over to an empty, solo paddock, where he made sure to give her space to adjust. After a few minutes of cautious sniffing, she relaxed, and Alex offered up an apple he'd saved specifically for the newcomer. The mare seemed intrigued, moving towards him. Like her file said, she was a total sweetheart unless other horses were involved. Alex watched as she stepped nearer, taking the apple and crunching it happily. He smiled, stepping back to give the newcomer some room. She swished her long tail, nonplussed by his presence. So, she was going to be a handful around others...but here, in this moment, she seemed all right.
