Dark Dressage

Savannah had arrived in Mallorca Spain only yesterday, but today, she was mounting her horse and preparing to enter the beach arena. Distinto was more than ready for this. He was a little on edge from the travel and being in a strange area, but overall he was doing rather well. He stood proudly in his purple paint which would later be swapped out for pink during the following Pas de Duex. Savannah repeated the routine over and over in her head, hoping she wouldn’t make any obvious mistakes. She only hoped the dark would cover up any missteps, but, she knew she was a strong enough rider for this routine. Her number was called to enter the arena, and so she took a deep breath and clicked Distinto into motion. The sooty bay strut into action with his natural rhythm and grace. He executed each move as cued and started begging for treats the moment they finished the routine.
