"Hold Your Horses!"

Boy did Milton try...

The fired up stallion was eagerly pushing on, his handler just keeping up to hide the fact that his horse was dragging him along. The reins stretched and tensed with each step taken, under consistent pressure that the horse simply wasn't listening to. Not that he didn't care, but more that he was in his element, his hometown, and the stimuli of the exciting show around him was a high he was riding off of.

Athens tossed his head up a bit, arriving at the judge, to which Milton gave a small correcting tug, once again asking the stallion to slow his pace.

The judge gave them the cue to halt and wait, to which they did, and Milton swore he saw his horse stand taller and prouder.

With his dark, shiny coat, lushious tail, and prominent silhouette, the Loshenka stallion beckoned the attention of many on lookers. The feeling of so many eyes on them made Milton anxious, maybe even more so than the judge assessing the two. But to be fair, the audeience was watching for all the right reasons.

One could never asusme that it was their first time showing, Milton looked too calm, and his stallion was standing perfectly square, and knew just how to place himself to show the iconic Loshenka traits.

With what felt like hours, had passed, and Milton felt himself breathe again, finally leading his stallion, instead of the reverse, onwards.

As the gravel crunched beneath their feet and they left the path, Milton gave a pat to his horse; both to calm his anxiety, and to reassure Athens he perfomed well.
