Phase 1 Bonus: Report Card

This beautiful girl is a Loshenka mare. A breed we don't see too often, note the lack of a mane!
She stands well for the farrier and vet. Was ridden but is currently not fit to do so and is looking for an experienced adopter. She has her papers and is a seven year old pangare chestnut.
She is quite timid and anxious, we are sure there's a very sweet and loving side that's waiting to shine beneath her issues.
She is a little thin for which the vets couldn't find any physical reason, it is likely due to the stress she's experiencing.
Unfortunately she has been through some bad experiences with her prior owner. This mare is severely claustrophobic and sensitive to her environment. She needs to have sunscreen and fly spray applied regularly, as she avoids any sort of shelter.
She tends to be very on edge, there's a base level of stress that has her prone to spooking and leaves her insecure, albeit handable. At this point we can't tell how exactly she feels about contact with a person. While she doesn't shy away, she remains tense.
We had to sedate her for her trailer ride here and shell have to be sedated again for her trip to her new home. If confronted with barns, covered arenas, canopies or anything similar she flies into a full blown panic. She freezes before that final stage, but once it's reached there's no way back. We have her in an open paddock and she needs a similar set up to start out at her new home. She's willing although a little unsure to work with a trainer, as long as it's in an open space.
She is in desperate need of someone who is willing to work with her at her pace, someone to bond with her and to lean on. She will not be a safe riding horse before her anxiety is addressed and we couldn't assess her riding level. She needs someone who can dedicate a lot of time and patience to her.
It's to be expected that shell initially be much more anxious and stressed than normal after arriving in her new home. Shell need a quiet, open space and some time to decompress.
