Phase 2

Eden, the name the young filly learned was hers, was not a huge fan of stepping out of her cozy stall. Although Violette was unsure of why as the history said nothing to do with trauma or abuse that could have been the cause. The only bit of information the Rescue had was that her dam unfortunately did not make long after her birth due to complications and the other mare they tried to get to allow the baby Loshenka to nurse on kept denying the blue dun filly or attempting to chase her off. These caused the youngling to be bottle fed and kept in a stall. She was nearly seven months old when she was finally taken outside, the anxiety sprung high in the young horse's mind. She would panic and pull back on the lead rope, usually escaping and running back to her stall, her safe place. When staff tried to introduce her to other Loshenkas and other breeds that were around the stables she’d shy away and not interact with them. This slowly turned into her simply ignoring their existence. When barn cats and dogs roamed near her or got in her stall she was curious of them, usually caught sleeping with the cats curled up on her back. Violette was hesitant at first to introduce her own canine companion Tazz, a young and very hyper shepherd mix. Deciding to at least give the pair a chance, Violette brough Tazz out to the small yard that Eden was currently in. Keeping the young dog on a leash she let the two meet. The filly bent her head down to better look at the creature in front of her. The young horse let out a huff of air ruffling the pups fur, Tazz yipped excitedly and jumped into a playful bow starling the horse causing her to trot off. Moments later she came back with a stuffed shark Violette gave her in hopes to help her anxiety on strolls outside of her stall- in which did seem to help. Eden brought the stuffed toy over to Tazz almost with excitement as if she was saying “hey you're not scary, I trust you to show you my toy.”  Violette from this moment onward would use Tazz and the stuffed shark to take the Blueberry filly on walks. This gave the young women hope of a good future for the young horse.
