Bonus Prompt: Checkup

After some good food, grooming, stall rest and some anti-inflammatory medication, Cascade is looking and feeling better. The lameness is still very much present, and within a few days of arrival the vet is out to see her. She's surprisingly calm and patient around the vet: has the grown accustomed to so many medical visits due to her injury?

It's hind limb lameness for certain, and she seems painful around the hip area. Her medical records are spotty after having passed from owner to rescue to new owner, but previous radiographs came back inconclusive. The vet tells Will that it's promising that she's responding to the medication and stall rest, but orders ultrasounds of her hip and stifle, as well as regional anesthetic to localize the pain. Hopefull in the coming weeks they will have more answers.
