Evil Pixies

Walking through the hallways of this creepy castle once again was very hisheartening, and everyone looked quite hopeless. Through the grounds there didn't seemed to be any escape possible- but through the castle? Surely not. Astoria was the first who was brave enough to speak up about this topic. "How do we find the exit? The castle seems so big.. and if we agree on this being a vedry surreal experience, which I think is fix without a debate, this castle is surely even bigger than we expect it to be.." Namir nods, doing a deep sigh. "There are 1000 ways to rome!" Arctic added very helpfully, which made Astoria roll her eyes and trot a bit forward to Khaos. "Lets try all the doors we come by" I say. "Maybe we can make out the correct path somehow". A few minutes later we realize that that would probably be easier than I had imagined. Astoria, Namir and Müsli tried to open at least a dozend doors, with none of them even budging a little bit. After a bit more of walking, talking and discussing the options, Arctic summarized "So basically, we can be sure that whatever door actually opens, is the one we are suppossed to take." Khaos nodded in agreement, and I answered "Yes I think that is correct." After two more corners, Astoria went ahead to try to open another door, and it suddendly swung open. We all pause and stare at it. "Well, lets go then." Namir said, a bit too confident for my liking. He was the first to enter said room, with us following behind. As soon as we all entered, the door shut. In just one second, there was a lot of noise suddendly popping up, The sound of many many birds flying around, and looking up we saw hundrets of small pixies shooting down at us, screaming little fighting screams and shaking their fists. Arctic screamed, and together with Müsli bolted towards the door on the other side... just to bang against it. It was locked. I swear, turn around and try to open the door again which we just entered, but the door was gone. Khaos looked around frantically, and then the Pixies reached us. They start attacking, biting us, ripping on our long manes and tails. Astoria shakes, helplessly trying to shake the evil little pixies off of her. The Pixies had the most fun with Arctic, pulling on his long tail, ripping out fluff and messing with his already chaotic looking mane. Khaos, who seemed to spot something yelled "That Pixie has a key!!" He started to run and jump around, nearly nocking over Namir and Müsli, who just left himself to fall to the ground and rolled around to try to get the pixies off of him. Astoria tried to help Khaos, because apparently she had spottet the pixie with the key, which was hopefully actually the key for the locked door, but she was stopped by Namir running into her. A very persistand Pixie was hunting him. I screech back, a Pixie had just tried to box my eyeball with her little fist. I pinn my ears and try to knock some of them out by bucking around and trying to hit them with one of my hooves, which was very unfortionate looking, and very ineffective. Astoria couldn't stop laughing, watching me jumping around and doing funny looking gymnastic poses. Khaos yelled for help in trying to catch that Pixie with the key, but we all were very busy fighting the evil pixies off. Especially Arctic and Astoria with their long fluffy coats were just nearly fully covered in biting and punching pixies. This was a nightmare through and through. Jumping and running slalom around Namir, who stood there a bit helplessly, and Müsli, rolling around on the ground like a little golden retriever in a puddle of mud, I tried tracking the key owning Pixie down to help Khaos. "There it is!" He yelled, pointing towards the front, where I finally see it with the large bronzen key around its neck. Namir followed us, and so we chased around that pixie together. Müsli stood up, apparently wanting to help us, but then got punched into the eye by another evil pixie, which led him to spook and he jumped right into the next wall. Namir took a huge leap and missed the key bearing pixie just by a few inces. I pin my ears, speed up and take a leap again, trying to ignore Astoria and Arctic who stumbled around, blinded by hair in their eyes and pixies on them. Suddently a few of them decided it was time for a new victim, shooting right at Khaos which lead him to stumble and he had to slow down, to be able to attempt to fight them off. Swearing and kicking at them - but mostly hitting the empty air - he jumped around. Namir and I sped up, trying to outsmart the important pixie, but nothing worked. I stop, turning the other direction in hopes to catch it that way, when Namir chases it to me again. And - thanks to a miracle - that finally worked. The pixie got scared seeing me on the next round, tried to fly off in the other direction, but then got absolutely snatched by Namir, who jumped straight into the air and managed to bite down on the little creature. "WE GOT IT!" I yelled, with everyone jumping up and speeding towards the door. Namir slammed the key into the keyhole and it magically turned itself, opening the door. We all bolt out, and Khaos kicked out after he left the room, which made the door slam shut behind us all.

Drawlloween Promt - Evil Pixies
Part 11 of the Story "The Fate of the 6"

Once there was a legend, of the Fate of the 6. It was a creepy myth that never got told out loud, as everyone feared bad luck when talking about it openly. It was just a faint whisper in the shadows, scribbled in old notebooks, lingering in the back of people’s heads. Nobody ever dared to bring it closer to reality, to make more out of it than it was: just an old, faint whisper. But what happens when 6 friends are at the wrong time at the wrong place? I fear we will find out very soon...
