Personality: A soft-coated, soft-hearted, slightly opinionated mare, who enjoys her role as a breed and stable ambassador. Flashy and a little more than a little go-than-whoa, she needs an experienced rider while out on the trail and in the arena; however, when it comes to groundwork, nary a spider's silk be needed, regardless of age or knowledge level.
A bit of a mother hen, Periwinkle adores any and all babies, equine and not, and will nuzzle and nicker and fret if she feels one is upset or isn't at their best. Because of this, she's often used as a surrogate for orphan foals or as a babysitter when not in work or busy with her own brood.
Not the most food motivated, though she does enjoy the occasional treat—especially if it's a green Jolly Rancher.
