Adoption Center

          

Welcome! The Adoption Center is a way for you to get a horse through art and/or literature, rather than spending coins, real-life currency, or tokens.

The Adoption Center is geared towards helping you find your first horse, or expanding your herd with a new horse that's ready to register or has a bit of background! You may also surrender horses you no longer click with or struggle to design, so they can find a new home.​ All available horses can be found in the #adoption-center channel on Discord, under the Group Adopts header.

  • AC horses are available to newbies only (3 or fewer Loshenkas owned currently) for the first week, to ensure that there is a steady flow of horses for newer players. A countdown timer is posted in each thread to indicate when they'll be open to non-newbies.

    • NOTE: Newbie status is determined by the number of designed and undesigned horses you own! Don't forget to count your genos!

  • You may only place a claim on one horse at a time, and cannot drop an existing claim to switch to a new horse. In addition, once you have claimed a horse, please wait at least 3 days (from the date you posted your finished submission) to claim another.

  • Claims are valid for exactly one week after your form has been posted, down to the timestamp (i.e. 11/1 at 7:55pm -> 11/8 at 7:55pm). Staff will not reply to confirm your claim, you may begin as soon as you send the form! Just be sure to check that an existing claim is not still active first.

  • Once you've posted your form, you'll need to follow the steps below (under "How to Adopt") to complete the claiming process!

  • If you have not submitted your finished art/lit claim within one week, your claim will be voided and the horse becomes claimable for others again. You may not re-claim the same horse after expiry.

  • If your claim needs corrections after posting, you will have one week (from the correction) to fix and resubmit.

 

How to Adopt

  1. Post the form below in the horse's thread once you've made sure you fit the eligibility (newbie/existing) and made sure there isn't an active claim (within 1wk or link already posted) above you.

  2. Draw or write at least a non-simple fullbody image or 900 word story of the horse, abiding by the Art/Lit Guidelines, and submit it to the Adoption Center gallery. 

  3. Go to your pending submissions page and click "Detailed Log" on your submission, then copy the link.

  4. In the horse's thread, ping the @Adoption Center role with the pending link.

  5. A staff member will let you know once it has been processed!

How To Surrender

  • Surrendering your horse is permanent and irreversible. You may not go back and re-claim a horse you surrendered to the Adoption Center.

  • You may surrender as many horses as you'd like, but please note that the AC is not meant to be a way to farm coins. Overuse of the AC may be brought up with you if we feel you're not using it in good faith.

  • To surrender a horse, head to this page! Once staff has approved the surrender in the queue, you will receive payment.

  • Payment for Surrenders:

    • You'll receive 800 coins per Designed horse

    • You'll receive 100 coins per Undesigned horse
