The vet had just left after checking out Shrimp. He was as healthy as he could be, though he definitely needed to gain a bit of weight due to him not eating as much and his teeth were worn down some due to all his cribbing activities.

“Well, buddy. You’ve been given the all clear to move.” Teagan gently patted the stallion’s neck, before turning and walking down the “hallway”, leading the stallion through the barn. He was definitely weary, glancing at all the stalls they were passing.

Soon enough, as they were nearing the end, a horse popped its head out of a nearby stall up ahead. It was another Loshenka, a chocolate palomino rabicano by the name of Bounty Hunter. The stallion let out a happy nicker, ears perking forward and tilting his head to the side while sticking his tongue out. He was a goofball.

The gesture from Bounty caused Shrimp to lift his head and perk his ears at the other stallion. Teagan approached the stall with Bo in it, allowing the lead rope to slack some, holding onto it near the end to allow Shrimp to move at his own pace.

Bounty bobbed his head, stretching his neck as he looked at the white stallion with a curious gaze. “Come on, Shrimp.” Teagan spoke softly to the stallion. “I promise Bo is as scary as he looks. Which is not at all.”

Shrimp was weary, obviously not a fan of how close he was to a stall. He didn’t want to go near it as he might end up being stuck in one. Yet he was a little curious himself, the chocolate stallion seemed… friendly?

Teagan and Shrimp ended up standing there for a few more minutes, with Bo trying his best to get within reach of the other. Eventually Shrimp stretched out his neck and shimmied forward just a tad, just enough where his nose slightly grazed Bo’s own.

Even if the interaction was a short one, it seemed to be a good one. After all, the two are now going to be neighbors, and hopefully, friends.
