Scorch can be very peculiar about obstacles. It took Azura some time of owning him to mostly figure out what he was on about. Sometimes, if rarely, she still gets it wrong though. No harm done either way though, as Scorch just carries on and Azura has gotten an even stickier seat thank to him sliding to a stop or swerving away last second. It could be the terrain surrounding the obstacle that he thinks is sus or maybe the angle at which theyre approaching. He does have his reasons and if push comes to shove he does take on any obstacle- but only if. Hes a great companion, just not that type of daring.
